John T.M. Hopper, 63, a former resident of this place died at his home near Jefferson, Ohio Friday morning Jan12, at 11 o'clock. Until recently Mr. Hopper had lived near Lebanon but a few weeks ago he bought a farm near Jefferson and it was while moving there he contracted the cold which caused his death. He was a member of the Centenary Methodist Church of Lebanon and of the Masonic Lodge here. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Emmet Clay, one brother, Dr. M.L. Hopper of Gary and two sisters, Mrs. Corella Beesecher and Mrs. Maida Bowen of Russiaville. Mr. and Mrs. Will Miller of this place attended the funeral which was held at Jefferson last Sunday.
